Specifically conceived for the Growing Space Wielewaal site, Monster is an ordinary workspace swallowed up by a grotesquely distorted floor. But the installation seems to mock the very notion of chaos, with its IKEA-Showroom esthetics stuck under the glasshouse like a theatre scene. The situation provokes a paradoxical feeling of eeriness and derision.
