The exhibition hosted a candy-making workshop By Astera Mortezai on January 24th.

“The first thing I noticed about all our practices was the imprint of a chaotic, saturated world constantly ruminating on itself. A monstruous ball of words, signs and images builds up an overwhelming sense of emergency that creates a paradoxical numbing effect. Amid this incessant flow, we try to resist cynicism from an outsider's position. We exploit every loophole to develop strategies of contest, taking the stance of a cheeky child asking uncomfortable questions. Through the most modest ways, we attempt to preserve our integrity against economic pressure, thwarting the fallacious rhetoric of opinion leaders to expose social machinery running on empty.” - Nicolas Manenti (with the kind help of Joshua Miller)
